Canada Post Strike – Update October 31, 2025

With intermittent mail delivery being reinstated during the ongoing strike, Legal Aid Manitoba has resumed sending correspondence and private bar cheques through Canada Post. Consequently, clients and counsel can expect delays in mail delivery. Where sending correspondence by mail, clients are also encouraged to remember to submit important papers well in advance of scheduled court dates, as delays could impact their delivery to appointed counsel.
